Tell Us Your Story:

Jordan and I met in High School, and were best friends for several years. I convinced him to go to Indiana State as we were both researching colleges and applying. We both went to Indiana State and were inseparable as best friends and grew into a beautiful relationship.

We finished out our degrees in 2011-2012 in Criminology and Construction Management, also moving cross-country for Jordan to begin a Project Manager position in Phoenix, AZ. We found our way back home in 2014 and began our new careers.

We were engaged for over two years while raising our amazing son Kayson Alexander, who is now almost 2.5. We built our dream home last year in Brownsburg, moved in, and immediately began planning the wedding all of 2018.

Jordan and I handmade many items From our wedding including the wooden arbor we were married under, centerpieces, ceremony lantern decor, custom design seating chart and monogram by Jordan! It was a labor of love and we thank Jones Crossing so much!

Special Moments to Note With Family or Friends?

Our son walking as a ring bearer, many out of town family and friends and some out of town attending was really special. Our families and friends coming together rehearsal night and getting our ballroom and ceremony area set up perfectly really took a weight off our shoulders and allowed me to relax and get ready for the big day.

Special Meaning of Your Dress, Tux, Jewelry, Shoes, etc?

I carried something old, borrowed, and blue from my mother and mother in law in my bouquet. <3 My husband also handmade the beautiful wooden arch that we were married under in our ceremony.

What Made Your Wedding Day the Best Day of Your Life?

Everything was smooth from the start to finish of our whole day. Everything wasn’t perfect, there are always hiccups in your day that’s life, BUT after looking back on our entire day, night and weekend to follow – everything was absolutely perfect.

We worked hard for the whole wedding for all of 2018 and really celebrated our love and our hard work. Everyone having a great time at our wedding REALLY made our day even better. My father walking me down the aisle was very special to me as well.
