Tell Us Your Story:
Nik and I met way back when in Jr. High. We did not date in high school, but we always had eyes for each other. Nik actually asked me on a date in high school, but I thought I was too cool for school and turned him down. Our love story began his senior year of college when we started dating.
Although we did not go to the same school or even live in the same city, we found our way to each other. We dated for about 5 years or so. I am not certain because I always told Nik I didn’t want a dating anniversary, but only a wedding anniversary.
Nik proposed to me on the 3rd of July 2015 at a cabin get away with my family for the holiday weekend. He proposed to me in a one room cabin off the main cabin filled with lit candles and rose petals. It is the most romantic memory I have and an event I will never forget.
Right before Nik proposed to me, keep in mind I had no idea this was about to happen, I saw a smile on Nik’s face I had never seen before. This smile was of pure happiness and joy. I’ve seen him smile before and be happy before don’t get me wrong, but never to this extent. It’s a smile I’ll never forget.
We came out of the one room cabin to my whole family silly stringing us and congratulating us. My whole life I have dreamed of finding the perfect mate for me. In Nik I have found my true blue person. We are not perfect, but perfect for each other in ever way possible.
Our wedding was a DREAM at Jones Crossing and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a magical experience. From booking the venue to wedding day we were treated like king and queen.
Nik, myself, and our 7 year old Chihuahua are one happy little family now. We are about to celebrate our first Christmas as Husband and Wife and every other holiday this next year will be very special and mean that much more.

Songs You Picked and Why:
Our first dance song was “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Boyce Avenue because that song always makes us think of one another.
My sister Jeena sang the song I walked down the isle to on a recording, I can’t help falling in love with you by Elvis. These songs will always hold a special place in my memory when I hear them.
What Made Your Wedding Day the Best Day of Your Life?:
The most amazing or magical part of the day was truly and honestly having all of the people we love and helped build our love story around us to celebrate OUR love. There is no better feeling and not enough words in the English language to describe the wonderful feeling. How Many Guests RSVP’d?:151Why Did You Pick Jones Crossing?:
We picked Jones Crossing because we loved the feeling we got when we walked in. Very spacious, many ways to make it your own, and the plenty of room in the bride and groom suites. The theme for our wedding was glamorous/romantic and Jones did not dissapoint my vision.
Ladies, let’s face it, I have been planning my wedding in my head since I was 9. I can’t picture a better outcome.
