Tell Us Your Story:

We have been dating for 9 years total. Our dating anniversary is 8/10 so to be able to have a wedding date so close to our “original” anniversary was important to us! We met through his brother way back before we had our license and they were walking and stopped at my (the bride) house for something to drink. I tagged along and it was over! He carried me over a puddle and helped me over a fence. Next thing I knew we were together! Neither of us were planning for a lifetime commitment. But days turned into years. He promised my mom we would not get married until I graduated collage. He kept that promise and we got engaged on New Years. We had a lot of ups and downs planning our wedding but it all come together! And we couldn’t be happier!

Special Moments to Note With Family or Friends?

One of my bridesmaids asked me how many cups I had and I told her it was MY cup! (We’re going to have to ask her more about this one!)

Also my youngest niece danced with me. That really warmed my heart.

My youngest nephew also came up to me and ask why I was in such a pretty dress. I told him I just got married and of course he asked why I would do such a thing. I replied with I love my husband so he continued to tell me he was also married. I told him he isn’t going to get married for a very long time. He then informed he we was in fact married and it was to mommy and daddy.

What Made Your Wedding Day the Best Day of Your Life?

Everything! It went so smooth! We laughed the entire night! At one point he looked at me and said “I’m pretty sure we are supposed to be serious right now and we are laughing through the entire thing” lol

Why Did You Pick Jones Crossing?

They offer a lot for the money. They charge about the same as other venues but the staff takes care of EVERYTHING! It was amazing! The venue itself is beautiful. They have outside or inside weddings and you have until I think about an hour to change indoors. But you should try and do an outside wedding because the waterfall and palm trees they have are so beautiful. We thought the cars were going to be loud because it is by a busier street but you couldn’t even hear them. Jones Crossing is a wonderful place to get married.

Would You Refer Jones Crossing to Another Couple? YES!
