Olivia

Co-Owner,Wedding & Event Director

Olivia and Ryan Wheatley are the proud co-owners of Jones Crossing Banquet & Event Center, a family-owned venue that has been serving the community since 2007. In January 2025, Olivia and Ryan, along with their sister and brother-in-law, Tricia and Russ, stepped into ownership with a shared vision: to continue building a space that meets a growing need in the community—one where life’s most meaningful moments can be celebrated beautifully.

Olivia and Ryan live in Mooresville with their three children and are deeply rooted in the local community. They are highly involved in Mooresville Athletics and spend much of their time supporting their kids and traveling to games. Outside of the venue, they enjoy being outdoors, making memories with family and friends, and exploring new places together.

For Olivia and Ryan, Jones Crossing is more than just a venue—it’s a place where joy, love, and celebration come to life. They take pride in helping couples and families create unforgettable weddings and events, and they truly love being part of the moments people will remember forever.

Co-Owner, Wedding & Event Director

Tricia and Russ Schmitt are proud co-owners of Jones Crossing Banquet & Event Center, joining alongside Olivia and Ryan Wheatley in ownership in January 2025. With a deep love for their hometown and a passion for bringing people together, they are honored to help continue the legacy of Jones Crossing as a cherished gathering place for the community.

Tricia and Russ live in Mooresville with their youngest son, while their two older sons are now happily married. Family is at the heart of everything they do, and they take great pride in being actively involved in the Mooresville community, especially supporting the local athletic program.

For Tricia and Russ, hosting weddings and events is about so much more than a single celebration—it’s about creating the setting for life’s biggest moments. They believe every event is not just a planned day, but the start of something meaningful… a new chapter, a new memory, and a beautiful beginning.
