Finally Married After Two Covid Reschedules
Sonia and Alford were so patient and understanding as they had to reschedule not just once, but two times due to the COVID pandemic. We are pleased to have received their wedding story and review of Jones Crossing so we can share more about this beautiful couple!

Hi Olivia,
We want to personally Thank you and your family and staff for making our special day so perfect! Thanks for putting up with me for the past year and a half LOL The venue was setup perfectly and the food was so delicious! Our family and friends raved about how beautifully the venue was put together and great the food was. Keep up the great work! It was all well worth the money spent. We appreciate everything you all had done for us! I’m still shedding tears LOL

I had a great time working with Sonia and Alford. It is clear how much they love each other. This was the first wedding that I have offered photo/video hybrid coverage. I am glad that it was at this wedding. The details were well thought out and put together nicely. It was an honor to capture their big day!
Sonia’s dress came from David’s Bridal.
Alford’s tux is from Men’s Warehouse.
Flowers are from Bud and Bloom, which is located right here in Mooresville!
They hired a videographer. Her name is Courtney Whittington.
Sonia’s beautiful hair was done by her best friend, Dorinda Calabrese.
That gorgeous make-up was done by her beautiful niece, Madysen Bassett.
Delicious and beautiful wedding cake was by our wedding cake preferred cakery, Grafton Peek Cakery.
They went all out and rented a limo from Royal Transportation.

Alford and I have known each other for 20 years. We dated back in our early 20’s for a short period of time then broke up and reconnected in June 2018. We connected instantly. Our feelings for one another grew quickly and we fell deeply in love with each other.
Our relationship was going strong so we started talking about moving in together. He was going to move to Indy from Terre Haute. On December 13th, 2018 I went to visit Alford in Terre Haute and he had asked me to take him to the mall.
The first store we went to was Zales Jewelry Store. I didn’t think anything of it. I thought we were going to look at necklaces. I proceeded to look around and Alford went to the other side of the store looking around.
Next thing I know Alford is calling me over and shows me a diamond ring. He asked if I liked, I said it was absolutely beautiful. He asked me to try it on. I’m still thinking nothing is going on. He slips the ring on my finger and asks me if I would marry him. I instantly started sobbing.
I couldn’t even speak. I finally collected my thoughts and had asked him to ask me again so that I could answer him and he did and I said YES!!!!
Almost two years later we finally were able to marry!
Aug. 15th, 2020 has been the best day of my life. I married the man of my dreams and my best friend for life!

Everyone at Jones Crossing is so friendly and helpful.
The venue was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing! They do a great job of decorating the place up to your liking.
We were originally supposed to get married back in March and COVID hit so we had to cancel and rescheduled two different times.
They were comforting during that time and worked with us to still give us our special day.
Thank you all for making our wedding day so special, so beautiful and so perfect!
